    Press the Tofu:

    • Drain the tofu and wrap it in a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Place a heavy object, such as a cast-iron skillet or a stack of plates, on top of the wrapped tofu to press out excess moisture. Let it press for 15-20 minutes.

    Prepare the Coating:

    • In a shallow dish, whisk together the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined. This will be the coating for the tofu.

    Cut and Coat the Tofu:

    • Once the tofu has been pressed, unwrap it and cut it into bite-sized cubes or strips.
