INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound 14 ounces Half a package of paneer, cut up into little bits

  • one tablespoon chopped garlic

  6. Once the pan is cool enough to handle medium-low heat, add the oil and cumin seeds. Once the cumin seeds explode, add garlic, salt, and tandoori masala. Stir the garlic several times to keep it from burning. After you add the onions and peppers that have been browned, stir them in and turn off the heat.
  7. Open the air fryer basket and gently coat the paneer with oil or cooking spray if you desire a browned appearance. Please continue cooking for an additional three to five minutes.
  8. Put the cheese, onions, and peppers together, and serve hot as  Deviled Eggs!!

My favorite way to serve paneer tikka as a starter at a party or BBQ is on wooden skewers. Steel blades made of stainless steel can also be used.

For those who don’t have skewers, you can just put the veggies and marinating paneer in the air fryer basket and cook them that way. Don’t pack too many people in, and spray some oil on before cooking.

Besan is gram flour. If you don’t have any, you can use corn starch, all-purpose flour, or chickpea flour.
