Method to Make the Air Fryer Filet Mignon

Filet mignon gets ready in a very short time in the air fryer after doing all the prep work of seasoning it. You must let the steak marinate for some time. Before preparing the filet, you have to prepare the blue cheese butter which melts on the hot steak to give a divine flavor.

Preparing the Steaks

Bring the steaks and make sure to dry them properly. For this purpose, use the paper towels and then pat dry the steaks with these paper towels. Once dried, you have to season the prepared steaks. For this purpose put the steak in a dish and coat both sides of it with the Montreal seasoning. Rub it to coat the steak well.

Then drizzle some olive oil on your steaks, and let the steaks stand for some time to absorb the flavors. Keeping them at room temperature in this meantime would be a great idea.

Preparing the Blue Cheese Butter

Leave the steaks to marinate and then start making the blue cheese butter. Put the softened butter in a mixing bowl and add blue cheese to this bowl. Also, add the minced garlic clove into the mixing bowl at the same time. Combine everything well together. Divide the mixture into small-sized ice cubes. Put them in the freezer one night before the actual serving.

When you have to use the blued cheese butter cubes in the recipe, put them on the shelf to thaw them.

Cooking the Steak

In the last step, you have to cook the marinated steak. First of all, preheat your air fryer and the temperature for it should be 450 degrees. Put the prepared steaks in the air fryer basket. Start cooking and maintain 6-7 minutes. After half the time, use the cooking tongs to flip and cook the steak equally from both sides.

Once cooked enough, take the steak out of the air fryer and put it on the serving platter as  Ellio’s pizza.
